        Hats off to Ray !!!!!

LMBO! Yup, I is a root beer guy. I gave up on the other stuff decades ago. I will have an occasional mixed drink or beer amongst friends, but I am usually the designated driver at parties. I have been a fan of several different brands of root beer for decades.

For years, while traveling in Mississippi back in the late '50's and '60's, I would load up the trunk with a case or two of Barq's Root Beer, one of the finest ever, as far as I am concerned. You could not get it in Texas back then, (You can these days) so I "imported" it while on trips to visit our Mississippi family. It was the same way with Coors beer for many years in the past, in Texas. People would drive to El Paso, or the Texas Pan Handle, where you could buy it and bring back cases of it. Some by the truckloads and then resell it at a profit, I am told. I know of people who would drive nearly all day long and into the night just to buy Coors beer. Then they ruined the mystic by finally allowing Coors to compete in Texas with Lone Star, and other Texas beers.

Other root beers that I enjoy are A&W, ABC, Dad's, Frostie, Hire's, and IBC (I am drinking one as I write this!). I have not heard of Henry Wienharts Rootbeer before. Cathie, I have heard of Black Cow, but never had one. I have been known to tip over a few black cows though! lol! I also like several brands of Creme Soda..

I know you guys are serious about this, but you don't have to do this. I will PM you both, as I don't want to put my address out on the forum proper. Thank you very much for the gesture!

              EXCELLENT idea!

We can have a cook out!

We/I do it at dog shows.... so why not a car show?

Anyone can bring a dish if they choose to add to the adventure!
