Are you talking about the belt weatherstripping that goes between the glass and the body. It comes in a set and just snaps in. I've never tried replacing just the felt and not the metal backing if that's what you mean.

Side windows (in the doors) use pre-lined U-channel. You have to remove the old channels and re-rivet the new channels into place.

Rear quarter windows have a channel at the rear that you buy the felt "roll" and glue a strip of it into place.

I've seen a procedure described on "Tbirdsquare" by Tom Maruska (sp?) where he stripped the outer stainless from the fixed U channel, replaced the lining and then re-installed the stainless strips. I have not tried it, but it looks a lot simpler than replacing the channel (which I've done several times)
The rear channels in both front and quarter windows can be relined with a moleskin like fabric as Dakota Boy mentioned.

Any address where to buy the U channel online, please? I 'll need it to fix rear quater window too. Thank you. Roberto.

              from an old post:

I got a complete kit from

Obsolete & Classic Auto Parts in Oklahoma City OK

              www.classicautoparts.com

Part number: S21-41165-190 "Door Window & Qtr Felt".

Cost me $79 plus shipping a year ago Has everything for all doors and windows.

I did the horizontal felt outside the driver's large window as the metal holding the original had rusted to death. The replacement piece curves around the vented window as well, making the job challenging

Thank you John but I'm looking for the weatherstrip (felt?) that goes in the channel. Front are quite common on classic parts dealer but not quater windows
