I LOVE my 430!!

Just have to tell everyone here how nice my 430 in my 1960 T-Bird is! It is so smooth, NO vibration at any RPM. Sounds great with the open lakes pipes, i have a shorty muffler right at the manifold to make it legal.
And the POWER! no need to kick down the passing gear, let the torque take over. Power brake it a little, and it sounds and feels like a Super Stock 427 Ford coming off the line.I have had plenty of 390's, but the 430 is a nicer engine all the way around.

Henry, that's the beauty in having a classic car you are passionate about. The 430 MEL is a very unique engine and there aren't many left. It was also the engine of choice for Ford's luxury Lincoln cars.

It tickles me when Squarebirders are really pleased with their car. Enjoy cruising in it for a long time, Henry. - Dave
