You never know what to find....

While worked on the car today, I took out the rear seat.
Under there, I found a whole family of mouses, or ex-mouses that is.
I also found another ( first one inside the car ) of these "clayhouses" that is full of holes. I got like 10-15 of them under the car and in the engine bay area before. No-one home though....

Anders thank you for this I think?? They are weird looking critters but seats are an excellent home for them. Food for thought, when you are doing the spring cleanup, check to see if you have any house ( car ) guests
that you are not aware of. It's better to fond out before you go cruisin.

So, that's what a Chevy mouse engine looks like... (:
Sorry, just taking the 'Mickey', that joke was a bit 'cheesy'. Great 'tail' though Anders. If your Tbird ever starts to run a bit Ratty you know where the problem is.

Kinda creepy. I found the skeleton of a woodchuck in the trunk of a '59 I literally dragged from a barn in '92. Was sitting in the dirt floor since '81. All sorts of critters in there. Since restored and last known somewhere near Buffalo, NY.

Dirt-Dobber nests are what I find more than anything in my old-car restorations. Can find them anywhere. And I mean anywhere. They are harmless insects (look like black wasps but they have no stinger) but they can have nests upon nests upon nests. They start out with one tube, then a new generation adds on, and so on.

Well --- I guess we know what happened to the ROT sheet that might have been under the seat. Mouse house material.
