1959 Thunderbird Convertible considering purchasing
We won't know what this is until someone looks at the VIN # stamped into the frame in the engine bay. The Data Plate could be a reproduction plate. A good look at it should tell if the rivets are OEM or replacements. Anyone could have taken the chrome strips off the rear panels. If it is a '60, I don't know why someone would have put what looks to be '59 gunsights on the car. I have seen a '59/'60 Tbird around here that looks like a '60 but has '59 parts on it. It is restored and highly customized and often wins trophies.
