does anyone make a shock absorbers that are for higher performance driving than a stock shock for my 1963 thunderbird convertible ?

Rodney if you google KYB Gas Adjust Shocks, you will find a number of places who sell them. However, someone needs to tell you which ones to get for your '63 Tbird. I looked at one site and they did not list the Thunderbird. Here is the link to the KYB website.

These guys make custom springs and sway bars for the Bullet Bird. You might ask them what shocks they used for the R&D to their products.
