Yeah, I noticed that. Interesting that they pulled the motor I would guess, since they said they changed the cam, and they didn't touch up the radiator plate, overflow tank or the strut brace?
And they didn't try to get it back to even near factory color?Comment

Well, it's listed as no longer available. Either that means someone hit it for the buy it now price of 28,500, or they pulled it for some reason. Maybe it's time to throw our 65 Special back on ebay again. Anyone here want to offer the wife something for itComment

I like the show. It's certainly better than the mindless drivel on network tv these days.
But..... when they took a '34(?) Ford and put a smallblock chevy in it..... and then took it to auction and lost money... I already knew that was going to happen. Putting a chevy engine in a Ford... what were they thinking?Comment

Ehhh - I don't really like or hate the show - but I watch it for the cars. I think it's all hype like 99% of everything else on TV these days.
"Forgot" to tell anybody that you bought the car....really? and then won't answer your phone or texts for over a day? (Hype)
"Model" coming to shoot at the new garage and what do you know - she's a welder - then you hire her. (you've got better odds winning the lottery - and so on - hype).
On the Tbird -
I like the '65's. That was a nice one. Fairly easy to put it back to stock suspension if someone wanted to but I'll admit it did look cool sitting low - that's the fad these days. Funny though how they said it rode like you were on a "cushion of air" - yet - they were bouncing their heads off the roof over small bumps.
Absolutely hated their fix for the wheels rubbing the brake calipers - just grind the wheels down - oh yeah - that will make them much safer - but who cares - they fit - right?
They should have at least washed the splash shields behind the front tires - all that dirt looked pretty crappy in that shot on the show when they were standing beside the finished car.
Then they go to the guys lot to buy another project and don't even look at the Squarebird they stumble over 3 times.... I mean come on - mention the Squarebird and tie the show together.
I didn't see $22,500 in the car but obviously the dude from Canada did. Hope he enjoys the car but I had a feeling his son was going to use it more than he was.
