    Spit Shine

Well i am impressed, my 59 Tbird was sitting for several years before we bought it, the paint was VERY dull and faded, had a haze to it I could not get out in 2009. I tried the Mothers 1 2 3 treatment, man oh man..I can see my time off my watch now in the paint, I love it!!!, but the only slight draw back was I see all the flaws and touch ups this paint job has had over the years...but at 30 miles per hour she is going to sparkle...!!!!!!!! just got my proper wheel covers in the mail off of ebay, been shining them all night...two look fantastic two look good and the 5th will look good in the truck on the spare.....anyway I am looking so forward to see this red bird glimmer this summer ...BIG Grin

John how long did the Mothers 1 2 3 treatment take you? I was watching a Speed channel segment on them and it appeared to take awhile. It won't be long ( especially on your side of the Rockies ) when you will be out crusin with your bird.

            How long to spit Shine

            Hi Dan,

I used the pre wax 3 times to get through the haze on the trunk and some of the hood, sides I pre waxed twice, I did 2-3 ft square sections at a time, the prewax took me about 3 hours, the glaze sealer part took me about 2 hours as I did each section twice, I used the wax one coat and it only took an hour, did this over two days, I am in my underground parkade where it is parked so weather didnt cause a problem,
I used a product from Canadian tire today, its a spray cleaner grease remover, I marked up my wide white walls while putting on the new caps and used this product, it took all the old dirt and grease marks off my wide white and left a shine, also it blackened the tires....I will take some picture when we get a sunny day here and post it....I will get my site activated so I can display her a bit here

            John

The company that I got my white walls from said to not use any white wall cleaner on them..... I have been using a product called Awsome that I buy at the dollar store for believe it or not a dollar a bottle.
