What makes it so rare? All 64's were Z code 390 cars and that paint is a standard Thunderbird color not a special order. I guess P.T Barnum was right. There's a sucker born every minute.

The 64 model year shows Florentine Green Paint Code "I" as an exterior paint and shows Aztec Gold Trim Code "58" as an a trim color and material color. It would be interesting to know the warranty plate codes for this car as to what it actually lists out for the Paint Code.

Well I didn't know "Florentine Green" was a factory 1964 Ext. color. I've certainly never seen one before...

I looked in the VTCI Scoop to see if Alan Tast AIA, VTCI Technical Director VTCI had published the VTCI Color Usage Survey for 1964-1966 Flairbirds. I have not seen it published yet. Automotive Mile Posts does list Paint Code "I" as Florentine Green, but it does NOT list Aztec Gold as in interior color. On their website, they call that code Light Gold. As one of you said, P.T. Barnum is right. There is one born every minute. It will be interesting to see what percentage that fellow Squarebird, Alan Tast shows for this paint color when his Flairbird listing is published in the Scoop.
