Blast From The Past!

A friend of mine told me of a company in San Antonio that does good media blasting, called Blast The Past. So I called them about cleaning up my metal fan shroud I got off of FeeBay. I went out to see them this morning. Imagine my surprise when I saw field after field, after field of old cars sitting there in the elements, rusting away, and waiting for someone to come along and restore them.. Including a '61-'63 white Bulletbird.... And some old Fords about the age of our '58-'60 Tbirds.. There is even a Kaiser Manhattan sitting there in pretty good shape, and any number of Studebaker's including some Avanti's, I think. You name it, and it is sitting there...

So I had a field day and took a bunch of pictures. You can see them by going to my photobucket account. There are a couple of dozen pix there..

Ray going to these types of places is like finding an old " pick your part" company in your area. I can walk around for hours, looking at all the classics, what condition their in and how much $$ and time it would take to bring them back and also the many parts of just how they were put together.
