    '60 Tbird Starter Problems

This is from Nyles ~Tbird1044 who is having problems posting. "I am looking for some help on a starter problem on a 60 squarebird. I did find out how to remove the starter, but have some questions. It looks like the starter is not disengaging and wore out the front bushing. Thanks Nyles"

Nyles, if you will call me sometime tomorrow I can walk you through posting on this Forum. My phone number is part of my signature element.

Front and rear bushings can be replaced with parts from most of the parts houses. Usually, 'auto-electric' shops do this service because they have all the correct tools to remove and insert the bushings.

I don't know where you live but if you have a generator/starter rebuild shop (an auto-electric shop) close, they will be glad to help. - Dave
