Use this on your original clock mechanisms. It worked for me. And the needle-point tip is great for getting the oil only where you need it.

My wipers are hydraulic. The motor gets pressure after the steering box.

Clock was disconnected by a previous owner so I assume it doesn't work. I converted to electric wipers last summer and they work great. D1 works fine as far as I can tell.

If the clock hasnt been smashed with a hammer, there is a good chance you can get it working again.

It's really cool to see these old mechanisms working again.

I know I sure was tickled when mine started running again after just a bit of TLC.

Hi Guys, D1 works no problems, Clock hasn't worked since I've had my bird (5 Years), What's the best way to check it?
              Wipers work, Washer--NO.

D1 has worked on both of my 58's although Gramms car has been restored.

I have busted a parking pawl on a rube Goldburg 58. Some day will get repaired but all due to sloppy shift lever as noted.

Wipers are a crap shoot. The leather flapp inside the wiper motor dries out and no they no work. Both 58's work fine but the one I bought from Canada works really well.

Vacuum washers are a much more fun issue. What happens is the small pump gets full of crap and no longer pumps liquid. I have both my systems working fine but when not planning to use them I always drain the fluids and run IPA thru them.

Good Luck as I ahve more fun with the washer systems.
