    DIY Exhaust

    Hi all,

I have a 1959 Thunderbird that I recently purchased. It had no exhaust and I'm looking at buying one of the DIY kits. They look simple enough any suggestions/comments?

ALso my car is very low, thanks to the previous owner. Does the exhuast run below the floor on in the tunnel beside the tailshaft?

    thanks

If you are talking about the exhaust systems that are advertised on Ebay and other sites I have used them and they fit fine. For the most part the exhaust runs next to the drive shaft in the tunnel. It does not run directly underneath the floors. Does your car have the rear hangers that bolt to the bumper brackets. If not you will have to fabricate something as they are not available.
