Beautiful job, Keith. The metal just flows like one continuous piece. I really love it. - Dave

I got it block sanded and reprimed. I like the way the bumper ,header panel, fender flow together.Last edited by keith; September 21, 2011, 10:25 PM.Comment

Got started on the right side. The past repairs on this side are all fiberglass and pop rivets.Last edited by keith; October 11, 2011, 10:06 PM.Comment

Some more pictures. I found some writing on one of the pieces of fiberglass and figured it was the name of the company that made the repair parts. Nope. Look closelyAttached FilesComment

Your inner rocker panels look great compared to what mine looked like before the repair. I am definitely jealous of your welding skills. You do great work.Comment

Here is what the damage looks like on the right front fender. Kind of a botched up job. I figured the metal was so brittle and thinned from all of the hammering and grinding I might as well replace it. The body line was very wavy and distorted.
I made a profile pattern of the body line and transfered it to some very hard plastic and cut it out on a bandsaw. This gave me a set of dies I could use in a reciprocating machine.
Some pictures of the machine dies, and the process.Comment
