    430/COM Shift Shaft Seal Leak

I'm cross posting this because it's 430 related.

I have a small leak from the Shift Shaft Seal on my 60 with 430 and COM.

Has anyone replaced that seal with the tranny in the car, and if so, what's involved?

Shop manual says on a 430, dropping the tranny requires removal of the complete bellhousing, converter, and flywheel assembly with the tranny, because there are 4 bolts from the inside of flywheel to the converter.

KULTULZ -- I know that you are fond of the 430's. Do you have any input that you could share on this?

    Thanks

My understanding is that the selector shaft seal can be replaced in chassis, but the valve body may need to be removed.
