    Looking for floor pans

I am looking for front and rear floor pans for my 1955 TBird. I need both right and left sides.

If you know of anyone, or have them yourself please contact me.

One of my buddies is a sheet metal guy who sells floor pans (and a ton of other sheet metal pieces) on eBay under the name of 'classicparts4u'.

He's located about ten miles from me in Westland, Michigan. He's a young guy who employs about six sheet metal workers, all busy hand fabricating panels. For our MEMBERS, sometimes I can work a deal with him but I'm not promising anything until I speak with him. I don't know about shipping costs and taxes, but he does.

I have two floor pans from him but I haven't put them in my '55 yet.

Here's an example of his items on eBay:
      Babybird pans, FRONT FLOOR PANS
      REAR FLOOR PANS

For the same $45.00 parts, MAC's wants $130. - Dave

        Thanks simply connected.

I have a front pair that I am going after on ebay now. Just waiting a few more hours to see if I win them. I still need the center bars and rear pans. For the passenger compartment, not the trunk.

If it's the same guy, he's much more reasonable than Macs or Hills.

I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.

Yes, I saw that you won the pans for $49.99. How much was shipping? And you're right, it's a $70 savings from Mac's outrageous price. Do that times four, and it's quite a chunk of money. - Dave
