Lowering the rear of a 65?

So what options are there for lowering the rear of the 65 by 2".

I have done some reasearch and see that the typical lowering block on the market won't work, since they don't have the same large centering pin that the rear of the TBird has.

    thanks for any help

    Hi
You can use the lowering block by having an engineering shop make a coupe of 'spigots'. Have them machine a disk the same OD as the '65's large centering pin, then drill the centre of spigot to suit the lowering blocks' smaller location pin. It'll essentially look like a thick washer. It'll drop over the pin of the lowering block and locate in the stock hole in the spring pad.
You may have to drill out the bottom of the lowering block to accept the pin/bolt that goes through the spring pack.
Alternatively, have the rear springs reset 2" lower.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers
