I went to DMV yesterday to get the Bird registered.
I was the 3 person in line (opened at 8 AM I got there at 7:15) and the first for the person that helped me. I got to the counter and made the comment WOW You are really busy this morning. (8:15 and had about 30 people in line.) she looked at me and said (in a not to happy voice) Ya and 2 people called in sick, 1 manager is at a meeting and one called in sick, what do you need.
I handed her the title to my car and laid the old plate on the counter. in about a minute she handed me a slip of paper and said this is your fee. I looked at the slip and to my surprise $375.00 I asked what all the fees were. (I had never seen so many fees in my life.) She looks at me and snarled the car has not been requested since 1995 do you still want to do this?.
I said of course I still need to do this, I want to drive my car.
she snatched the License plate from the counter and threw it on the desk. done the work looked at me and said I need your card. I handed her my ATM card she said input your pin and press the green button.
She handed me back my card with the new plates and said I should have the tittle in about 8 weeks.
I wanted to so badly say I am sorry you have to do your job. but instead I looked at her and said I hope that you have a good day today and have a nice weekend.
and I walked away.
They must teach all government employees how to be rude to there customers, in there customer training school. ( I always new that the government had a class on how to treat people badly this just proves I was right.)
