Default Chris ~ bird 60's All Fords Day Pix...

Here is what Chris had to say regarding All Fords Day Down Under!

"Hi Ray, Some Pixs from last week's ALL FORD DAY. There were 7 T.BIRDS on the day. Two '56 Baby Birds were there, but were in a different spot with their club & didn't see them until I was leaving. I took out 1st place, & the '64 Silver Flair Bird runner up. As you can see the additional work on the Trunk & Hood & a little on the inside. It was a beautiful sunny 16c,& now we're getting into the high teens & early 20s C. I sold my Cadillac, but kept the ELVIS P plate, & now it's on the T.BIRD."

Here are the pix.

Chris congrats on taking 1st. I like the extra touch of the TBird badges on the door panels as well as the front fenders. I had put a pair of 352 badges bought off Fleabay on my side panels just behind the front wheel wells ( centered of course ) on my 60 and got many compliments. Looks great.

Great looking car and congrats on the 1st place win. I thought the sheepskin seat covers were a nice "down under" touch. ;-)

Thanks Guys, I forgot to mention, the Lincolns & Mercuries were in the same class. The Sheepskin covers were added at the same time of the completion of the Rotisserie Restoration back in 1997. It was a custom fit, & it was done in Western Aust. The cost at the time was $4.000au. The original seat covers are brand new. At the time of judging, I remove part of the Sheepskin cover to show them. They also come in very handy with the Hot Aussie weather.
