    New guy, old questions

Hello all, So now that I've doug into my new toy I've got questions. A) According to all the numbers, I've got a "Z" motor. I'm getting conflicting information from all the sources I have found. Is it a 330hp or 300hp Motor?
    B) I've read everything I can find (both on here and elsewhere) on exhaust manifold leaks. Mine is the drivers side. How do you even get access to remove. Take off the whole head, manifold and all or pull the whole motor. It hurts to type with these bloody knuckles. Everyone speaks of the difficaulty of the bolts...no one speaks of how to get to them. Thanks in advance.

    New guy, old questions

    Hi Keith,

This link should answer your questions regarding horsepower and the engine. A "Z" Code engine was a 390 Special V8 with 300hp. This website will give you a lot of information about your 1963 Bulletbird.

Click on this link for engine, tranny, etc. information.

Hopefully, one of our great techies will be along soon to answer your other questions.
