One of our Forum members told me of a very clean '65 Special Landau in North Dakota for sale. So I told him to have the owner send me some information on it. He wants to find someone who will continue to give it the care and love he has. M30J PAINT CODE/COLOR V 1921 Emberglo Metallic (Dark Copper) SALES NAME/(REMARKS) Emberglo (Available on Special Landau only) Here is what he had to say. At the bottom is the Hemming's link where you can see all the pix. Click on More to see the full description of this car!
"I was referred to you by fellow car hobbyist, Jay Davidson of the Boston area, while dealing with him about a Cadillac I have for sale. I mentioned to him that I also have an ad in Hemmings for a beautiful 1965 Thunderbird Special Landau which I am hoping to sell. You can find the ad #1725081 on www.hemmings.com. It is a very clean and straight rust free ND car with only 68,000 original miles…..2000 of those miles have been in the last 30+ years. As it sits today, it is a very nice ‘parade ready’ car. Runs and drives like a dream. It would take very little to make it nearly perfect. Gotta remember, that a 50 year old car probably will never be ‘perfect’. Am only asking $9900 for the car. I did have an offer of $9500, but turned it down. Price is negotiable. USA buyer only. You wouldn’t believe how clean and void of rust this car is for being 50 years old. It has more than likely never seen salt on the road. IT IS NOT A “BONDO” CAR!! I have owned it for about 10 years and just plain don’t drive it. It has come to a time in my life where I need to cut down on my car collection some. I have 18 cars. My main interests remain with the ‘60’s muscle cars, mainly the MOPAR line and a few GMs.
Any questions you may have, please don’t hesitate to either call or email me. I will, however, be gone this week from Tuesday, 5th through Thursday, 7th, and possibly the 8th. Thanks, so much!
