I just watched the low-mileage '61 hardtop I documented in '94 previously owned by Auto Krafters go across the block for $19,000. Car has had some miles added to the 1750-or-so to around 2200 (?), and according to the "commentators" appeared to have been repainted (I highly doubt it).
I got to look this car over top to bottom just after it came out of storage from the original owner's estate. It was a late '61 with 1-1/4" WSW tires, very few options. At the time the car was purchased from the estate it was sold for about $18,000 in 1994-dollars if I remember correctly. So, someone got a pretty good deal.
