Hello I am new 1963 Tbird

Hi I just found this site. Here is my 1963 Wimbelton white Aqua interior Bird. I have made a few Modifications they are as follows.

    1. Rebuilt motor with Hardened valve seats Drilled out oil return passages
    2. 1975 alternator system from a F-250 Truck
    3. True Dual 2 1/2" exhaust no H pipe with the loudest magna flow mufflers availible
    4. 1965 front Spindles Brakes ETC.
    5. 17x7 and 17x8 American Racing Torque thrust Rims.
    6. Older pictures with the wire rims were 14x7 true Knockoffs
I am thinking about a C-6 Swap and changing the open rearend to a Posi type with some better gears.

    I hope you like it

Here is what it used to look like

Bill welcome to our site and if I can help you navigate it send me an e-mail pm and I will be glad to help. Your bird looks great and with the modifications you have done should serve you well for years to come. Good cruisin.

        Welcome

        Welcome!
Nice looking ride! Personally, I love modified Thunderbirds, especially 63's! I have also modified mine quite a bit, so any questions, don't hesitate!

Very nice. I like the A/R wheels much better than the wires. Will the skirts not clear, or do you just prefer that look? I like the skirts so I made sure I could still use them with my Boyd's.

I like the skirts too but I was looking for a Boulavard Cruiser type of look so I opted with having the offset with the lip comming right into the edge of the fender well. I actually had to run differant offsets on the wires also..

Works without fenderskirts. No doubt. Looks fast. Want it.
