Steering Control Valve Ball Stud Replacement

Somehow, I wish I knew how, I've lost my shop manual. How does one loose a big orange book? I dunno, but it's gone.

Anyway, as part of my suspension rebuild, I bought a new ball stud kit for the power steering control valve. How do I replace it? The kit came with an exploded view, but I'm not sure that I need to take the entire valve apart. There seems to be a pair of screws holding the valve assy on, can I just take those off?

If anyone could scan the relevant pages of the shop manual for me, I'd be real appreciative. Alternatively, a step by step explanation would likely work too.

Hopefully I'll find the manual before I have to get the rest of the thing back together. I'm going to need the torque specs for everything too.

I was reading on this yesterday I to will be rebuilding my control valve P/S pump and power cylinder, I Ordered the parts on Friday.

From what I see if you UN bolt the valve body from the ball stud assy. they are 2 separate pieces and can be worked on as such. then the springs and cups just slide out the end. I'm just guessing when I say the ball stud is held in place with the spring cups and will fall out when removed.

As for the tourque that I do not remember reading.
