Hi, only a suggestion, if possible it might pay to hold off with the mufflers. When baggign my '62 one of the most difficult jobs was the exhaust. Because my car's floorpan almost sits on the ground there was no room for mufflers underneath, and no room for mufflers ahead of the rear axle as the rear bags would be too close to the hot exhaust. Also, trying to snake the pipes up over the diff, without hitting the shocks, air lines or bags, was a mission. In the end I took it to a profssional shop as it was beyond my ability.
I used a single flowmaster, dual in/dual out, for a late model firebird. I located it behind the rear axle, in front of the gas tank.
Maybe it might be an idea to get the bags, lines etc in and then see how the exhaust/mufflers work out.
Cheers
Alistair
