Many thanks to all.
The 'Bird was purchased from a guy in Kelowna. Originally, he purchased it from a guy here in Vancouver (BC) on Renfrew somewhere. That guy brought it up from California for his daughter back in the day and then the history is blurry.
When the previous owner bought it, it had 88,000 on the odometer. When I bought it it had 92,000. In 21 years the guy had driven 4,000 miles!!! (he confirmed this).
He has kept it in very good condition and had it repainted after a hailstorm. (ICBD made him do this in order to keep his collector status, I believe).
I'm currently researching how to upload pics and where to do it.Thunderbird Registry number 33914

1st, welcome aboard Karl. Glad to have you on the site.
2nd, where is everyone seeing pic of his '59 Bird at? Did I miss the thread or something? I didn't see a link in the thread about him taking the Bird in to get the brakes checked by the "questionable" mechanic....?
