fender ornaments

Just bought repro ornaments from vendor. Birds in the sight glass
face toward the passenger side of car. I was told they are supossed
to face driver's side. Anyone know what is correct?

If you look from the outside of the car, all the birds face to the left including the fender ornaments. Therefore the fender ornaments face toward the passenger side.

Thanks Alex -- The old ones faced to passenger side but either got some wrong info from tbird ranch site or I misinterpreted it that way.

I checked my 1960 today. The birds definitely face to the left. I saw that note on the Thunderbird Ranch site about the fender birds facing the driver's side. I wonder how many people have turned their fender birds around because of that?
