Fundamental brake/turn light question

59 Convertible with an aftermarket wiring harness

When the turn signal is applied do both or just one of the lights (outer?) light up on the desired side?

All 4 brake lights go on when pedal is applied - correct?

Just the outer lights have the turn signals. All four have brake lights.
