332 into a 390

i am told a 332/352 can be bored .050 to a 390 std piston and using 390 rods and crank thus becoming a 390 has anyone done this? my situation being i have a 390 that is at .040 over and has rust pitts in cyls that i dont think .060 will remove thanks for and help keith

i rersearched a lil and am wondering if the crankshaft is going to work as my 332/352 block is a 1959

ok the crank will work with the correct main bearings
