    Blinking Lazily

Hi Guys, My right turn indicator is blinking lazily. Is it a bulb on the way out, or is it the Turn Signal Flasher. The left turn works great.

    Thanks

    Chris.....From OZ.

check that the correct bulb is installed

check that the bulb's socket is firmly attached to the instrument panel (and thus grounded properly)

The flasher doesn't know right from left, only off and on. It could also be a bad front parking light bulb or one of the rear bulbs.

Do you see a common denominator here? Use the same part number (1156 or 1157) bulbs and check/clean your grounds.

Did you ever see a dim headlight or tail lights that switch back and forth? Those are all ground issues. If the ground path isn't good, electricity will find the path of least resistance.

New cars have a separate ground wire in every light socket. That leaves nothing to chance. - Dave
