63 T-Bird Value

New member looking for some advice. I am checking out a 63 tomorrow and I'm wondering what the value should be. It appears to be a Landau (has vinyl top with S on it). Owner says it has original motor that runs but the car has been sitting for years so no brakes, etc. Can't tell how much rust it has from the fuzzy pictures he's posted but all the parts seem to be there and the interior looks faded but complete. He's asking $1500 which seems like a good price unless the bottom is rusted out. Looking for advice on things to look for and what I sould expect to pay for a 63 project.

$1500.00 for a running 63 T-Bird is not a bad price. You need to check carefully for rust though. Old Birds are prone to rust, and rust repair can get expensive.
