    Roof-rail Weather-strip

I just bought a 63 HT, that was being restored by another gentleman.

I'm trying to finish the car, but since I did not take it apart, I'm in a quandary about how the ROOF-RAIL WEATHER-STRIP goes back in? I see there are small holes thru the new rubber strip, does it attach with screws? or buttons?, was there an adhesive or sealer used to glue it into the car as well?

The rubber weather-strip is from Concourse Parts.

    Thanks in advance!

BTW: I searched old threads and found a reference to Jim Osborn Reproductions manuals. And I have the BIG BIRD MANUAL, "ILLUSTRATIONS" which shows all kinds of exploded diagrams, but does not make a CLEAR reference to any sealer or correct attachment methods.... has anyone recently taken this apart? Did the factory use sealer/adhesive under the rubber trim? What size of screws are correct?

    Thanks

    Andy

This is the book you want, although I think the electrical book is just as important.
You can get them at most of the vendors. http://catalog.osborn-reproduction.c...roductID=73569
