Removal of electrical switch assembly for power window

I'm a proud owner of a 1960 thunderbird and I'm having problems with the power windows and I think it could be a problem with moisture. My question is does the switch assembly on the center tunnel come out without removing the tunnel or do I haft to remove this tunnel.
And what is the best way to remove this unit (Tools)

I think you are better off loosening the tunnel and removing the bottom of the back seat so you can lift the tunnel up high enough to get your hand under it and depress the 4 steel clips that hold the switch block in the console.

I just removed mine to clean the switches and I just popped it out from the top, however mine only had one hold down on each side?

What did you use to pop out your switch?

I used a set of the special small plastic pry bar deals I bought from a magazine. They are supposed to not mar things.
