NICE!
It just a shame that Ford painted it Yellow and white in the first place. I mean, that dosnīt look mecanical.
Where did they get that idea from? -
Anders I agree with the yellow valve covers The purchasing agent at ( Ford ) must have lost a bet in a poker game with the paint supplier, to come up with that Ditzler Yellow idea I couldn't do it, so that's why I went with chrome valve covers and breather on my 60.Dano Calgary,Alberta Canada

It was funny this summer at two different car shows, many people said to me, why did you paint them yellow! After I told them they came that way the comments still were how strange. Oh well, things were different back in 1960.....sigpic1960 Gold Bird, original owner since new. tbirdregistry #3158Comment

Ford owned their own paint plant in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. That's why Ford had the best paint jobs of the day. Ford monitored and maintained their own quality control from manufacturing paint, to shooting it in the assembly plant booths.Member, Sons of the American Revolution

I just LOVE all these ī50 names on products. Like this See-clear, Cruice-o-matic etc. etc. etc.
I even tryed to get a bit of that feeling back where I propose our infortainment system at Volvo to be called: Inf-o-matic or something like that
Didnīt pass.Comment

I like how the engine was running in those photos, judging by the blur of the fan blades.Comment
