This is the hose that was on my car. Is this stock? It is made of a ribbed green rubber and has a finished end.

Expansion tank overflow hose
Kevin, I looked at my overflow hose on my expansion tank. Mine is un-ribbed blue, without any finished end like that. Carl ~ partsetal, might be able to tell you if yours is OEM or not. In any case, it certainly looks like it would do the job!

Someplace, somewhere I've seen a hose such as that. It has been so long ago that I can't remember if it was from a Squarebird, Ford, or other make car.

That looks like it could be a hose from an old tire pump.
The finished end would be where a brass ferrule would have held the hose to the pump.
Other than that anything is possible.Comment
