6TB1RD's Budget Bird is almost done

Well after 16 months in the yard she's getting closer to being done.

Just about got the inside completed.
    so here are some pictures.

After $600.00 dollars for new seat upholstery and $150.00 for the carpet, I went the cheep route could not afforded new door panels so I recovered the ones that I already had. looks just as good in person as the pictures.

I know she won't take top honors in any car show, but she will always get top Honor in my book.

George took a look at your pixs and she looks good. It obvious, that you have taken a lot of effort, in bringing your
squarebird back to it's current state. That's the beauty of restoring these cars, it's what you want it to look like and not anyone else. As " drivers" we all put in our little ideas in them and drive them to show others. Good work and keep us posted with other pixs.

Looks like you have put in some long hours but just think that when you drive it out on a Sunday you can be very proud of what you have done

Well unfortunately after several miles she kept dieing I have decided to replace the Gas tank prior to driving again.

Ordered and got the tank delivered on the 3rd. Did I get a chance to put it in? NO not yet. Hopefully this weekend but probably not.

We started a remodel of our kitchen on the 4th, 12 hours a day for 4 days and still not done.

at last the interior is done except for the radio and the Dice

I will be posting more pictures soon
