    the SEARCH function seems broken

Gives me an error message saying:

"The search term you specified (oil) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.
If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific."

    Weird. And irritating.

I was searching with the phrase "oil light does not work". It was acting funny yesterday too.

Don't use quotation marks.... just use the single ' marks, just like this

    'oil light does not work'

    or 'oil light'

You could have also placed this question in the PC help desk area.....Let me know if this helps...

It always seemed to work before without any punctuation marks.

So I tried using ' ' and now it works fine.

      Thanks

        Searching for:
        seat belt
will render, SEAT, BELT, SEAT BELT. Those single quotes are important. They make (seat belt) one word, otherwise the space between the two words makes them two words. It should be entered as, 'seat belt' to render correct results.
