    Reproduction or Original

I just removed the Vinyl from the rear side panels and found this emblem, any one out there know if this is reproduction vinyl or original (from the 60's)

Brand US Naugahyde (the finest Vinyl (I can not make out the last word due to the backing)

    Thanks.

    Mystery word

    Looks like "upholstery" to me....

Shame about all those cute little "nauga's" who died to give their hides to your car!

The only logo I've seen so far on the back side of the vinyl on the rear armrest is a large circle with the letters US in it and what looks like "trusted" underneath.

        Scott:
I just finished the door panel the word in the circle is now known, under the US is Rubber.

This would probably be the manufacture of the Vinyl

I found a date code of 2-60 on the back of the door vinyl. I'm believing this to be Feb 1960?

The panel is also covered with what I beleave to be 3 different grades of Vinyl or at least the vinyl has three different backings on them

That's a neat emblem. Naugahyde may have been a supplier to Ford. Maybe Fuz knows.

Neat find. This is the first I have seen.
Could you send me the pic to my email address and I will see if we can get it into the next version of the rules.
