Do C6's and Cruise-0-matics use the same torque convertor? Is the flywheel the same or different therefore? Is the 352 and 390 flywheel the same?

I'm hearing that the torque convertors are different between C6 and COM. Evidently they can be rebuilt, there is a place in Houston that does so. -
Yes the torque converters are different.
When I switched from COM to a C6 I replaced flywheel, converter, and starter because I believe the flywheels have different # of Teeth.
Are you thinking of switching are just trying to find a COM converter?
There's a place in CT that is supposed to be excellent for COM tranny's, convertrers and parts.Comment

I'm not really looking to switch now unless something is unrepairable in my COM. I just want to be prepared with some options just in case. Does anyone have a link to the place in CT?Comment

I just looked up my old posts and the company is Broader Performance. Other members on this site have used them and have been happy with the results. I thought they were in CT, but apparently I was wrong or they moved as they are currently located in TX. http://www.broaderperformance.com/
Hope this helps.Comment
