allo guys what is the best shroud for my 60 bird the metal galaxie 63 the plastic at bird nest or the one at bobs birdhouse ?? I want to change my fan as well for a 6 or 7 blade I have a/c thanks

Hey Yves,
I put a '64 Galaxie metal fan shroud on mine. Works like a charm, very little modification needed! Just watch and make sure screws are not to long and poke hole in radiator

Like Richard, I have a metal Galaxie fan shroud on Rose, but mine is a '63. I found mine on eBay, bought it, had it sanded down and repainted. As he said, there is some modification that has to be done, but it is not much. It is the bottom section that has to be modified to mount. I have a 6 bladed flex fan that I got at one of the local parts stores.

I also vote a 62-64 Galaxie 352-390cid metal shroud, mildly modified to fit your Sqaurebird...

OK it's pretty clear were is the best place to buy dearborn classics sell for 249.99 is there cheper place or used parts shop I can call

Yves, several of us have found our metal fan shrouds from '63-'64 Galaxies off of eBay. I do not know if the '61-'62, or '65-'66 Galaxie years will fit, but if anyone is selling one eBay or Craigs List they might know. There is one for sale on eBay right now, but it is for a '65-'67 Galaxie 500. It says it will work with the 352 engine, but I ran a check on the year for '58-'60 Tbirds and it said it was not for those year Tbirds.

Dearborn

I have a brand new Dearborn fiberglass shroud that has never been used.
I bought it for my 1960, but my mechanic built a special oversized radiator so I didn't need it.

First $150 takes it, shipping in the US included.
