    1962 exhaust manifolds

Are 1962 Ford Galaxy 390 exhaust manifolds the same as 1962 Thunderbird 390?

    Thanks,
    Scott

They show the same part number so I would say yes.

Now to find a pair. The passenger side had cracks so it needs to be replaced. That part number is C1SE9430-A.

Maybe there was a revision but I have a different, more recent part number. It covers (1960-62) 352 and (1961-63) 390 Thunderbirds:
            C3SZ 9430-A (RH)
            C3SZ 9431-A (LH)

Notice that this part number was generated in 1963 for Thunderbirds. - Dave

Her mechanic said that that is the PN of the exhaust manifold he removed. I will do more research but I feel like any of those will work.

              Thanks for the information.

Also hers is an early build ‘62. There were some revisions in the 2nd Gen ‘62 but I don’t know to what extent. Her door panels do not have arm rests. When we replace the interior I may cheat on the door panels and get the arm rest versions.

A C3 part number would not have been available in early 1962. The Ford parts book will always show the latest part number depending on when it was published. My copy was published in 1969 so it will not have the original part numbers if there's a later revision to it. The C3SZ parts Dave posted are a direct replacement for your original C1SE parts.
