Coral asked me this question and I had no answer for her. The question was: what is the name of your car? I have no idea (I do not think that will work!) Ideas anyone?????

How bout Skyamsen ???
I was looking up mythical birds and found this:
Skyamsen, Tlingit name for the thunderbird.
Not being sure who the Tlingit people were I looked and found:
The Tlingit are an Indigenous people of northwestern America.
Just putting it out there. Probibly not a great name for a car not being real feminine sounding and all. It is kinda cool because it means Thunderbird.
Edit: Maybe I should give that name to my bird, but she might want to be called Sky for short.
Here's another,
Tlanuwa, Cherokee name of a great magical hawk. According to the Natchez it's feathers were made of metal.
I found another:
Heloha, Choctaw name for the female thunderbird.
I would go with The Queen or Queenie, cos my thesaurus says crowning is another word for final. Queens have crowns, so.....
Also the search and story to determine that this car was the last squarebird was fit for royalty, so it just seems fitting to me. Not only that, but if she is anything like mine, like a true queen she will rule your life!

How about "Dave" or "Ed"?
no reason....I just like naming uncommon things a common name.
We once had a weird looking little dog and we named him "Larry".
Victor... you show an excellent sense of history, culture, linguistics and more...
which begs the question... how did you come up with an ID for this site like Chewrocks ???
I just had to ask...
john
Well thanks John. Sorry about the "chewrocks" thing. Its not meant to be anything but a name. My memory has never been great and I am finding that it not getting any better with age so I take this userID with me most places I go. Its just so ez for me to remember.
Where it came from? I bought a new jeep 10 yrs ago and started modifying it right off the showroom floor. I was trying to think of a fitting licence plate for it such as "EAT MUD" or "OFF RD" and I came up with CHU ROX. Churoxx became my id at the off road group I am involved in and I also use it for my email addy. If you see Chewrocks or Churoxx or churox at any car or jeep sites its probibly me. So it jsut a matter of convenience more than anything.
Thats my story and I'm stickin to it!
Heres my jeep and a shot on Golden Spike trail in Moab Utah.
Note: So's not to offend any eco-friendly on this site and to cover my own a$$, I always Tread Lightly, never go off established trails, Never go out when its raining or muddy (too much erosion), would rather drive on rock than dirt, always carry safety gear, fire extinguisher, etc., etc., etc.
