Need to ID a 430 engine quickly - any tips?

I am looking at a 50 Ford which someone swapped a later engine into. I am told it is a 430 from a Lincoln. It has Lincoln valve covers. Are there any quick ways to ID this engine. There is no way to get under the car where it is, and I have not seen one of these before.

(I do have the casting codes for the manifold, but manifolds get swapped too)

PS - I am trying to replace the 360 someone dropped in the 1960 T-Bird my brother just bought.

    Thanks for any ideas.

LINC rocker covers? Do you mean they have a design or LINCOLN is raised on them?
