Couple of nice birds you have there in your cage Bill. I was looking around on craigslist today at tbirds and found this. I like the 65s almost as much as the 58-60s and if I didnt need door panels and a paint job on my 59 I would be taking a serious look at this. Looking at the pictures I thought of your two white birds and how it would look parked next to them.
Get rid of the cheesy wheel covers and a little attention to the driver seat and console and it could be a very nice car for the price.

That 65 is so cheap. Yes, it would look nice parked next to my babies, but I fear if I buy another I may be living in a different house and talking to a divorce lawyer!! I reckon that my good wife has started to run out of her sense of humour when it comes to cars.

Pearl actually arrives next wednesday, so I am major excited. The transport company owner rang me yesterday to let me know it had passed through his yard on the way from the east coast of Oz to the west coast.

It joins Lady Penelope in the shed and both will now be gainfully employed as wedding and Ball hire cars. Petrolhead has come up with a good business name - Love Birds - and I now seeking help coming up with a name for my new baby...any ideas?
        Call her Billy.
And then play White Wedding for the guests.

Yeah, but then Bill will need to make sure the engine's 'Idol' is set just right.

About $1,500 less than I paid for my '66!

But then my dash, console and drivers seat were uncracked etc - and I had new carpet and the original wheel-covers.

But still a nice car at a good price - I might well have bought it had I come across it before i bought my '66.

I was going to say that's enough, but instead I find myself writing

                              Alistair:

I call my 63 Jane, because she is so plain. I told a friend that I was considering putting fuel injection on her and he said that it was like putting lipstick on a pig. I was insulted at first and the more I thought about it, well it stuck. So some on her I will have some very fine print “Plain Jane, Like Lipstick on a Pig”.

Back to your lovely, Daisy would be a good name. Then you could say you were driving Mrs. Daisy.
