A person contacted me asking what the solution is to his problem with his 1961 Thunderbird with swing-away steering wheel. On level ground he has no problem getting the shift lever out of park, but on even a slight incline it is difficult to get out of park. Is this a common problem? Which worn parts are responsible for this problem?
