    Window motor wiring

On a 1966 Town Landau, there are 3 wires going to the window motors. How do I check these to see if I have 12v power at the motor ?

The gray wire in the harness is the ground. The other two wires are hot depending on the direction of the rocker switch. Put the ground of the test light or voltmeter on the gray wire at the plug. Push the switch in one direction and check for voltage at either of the other two wires at the plug. Do the same in the other direction. The wiring schematics are available in the Technical Resource Library.

      Window motor removal

The power check to the motors was easy? What is the best way to remove the vent and window motors ? Does the window motor come out with the regulator ?

You have to remove the regulators to remove the window motors. I believe the vent window motor can be removed without taking out the vent window assembly but it's been awhile.
