    352 Thunderbird

I was recently given a 66 Galaxie badged w/352 thunderbird emblems- before I tear this thing down for the driveline transplant to my 55 F100 I wanted to know if there was a way to be sure I wasn't dismantling anything special. Ill try to check in often (or at least until tear down) to see- your input is appreciated! I can also be reached at robfrisk at yahoo dot com

I'd be willing to bet that it was a transplant into the 66. By 66, most stuff was the 390. Where are the badges? Air cleaner? Valve covers? Look at the casting numbers on the block and the intake to get some clues regarding the year of origin. Also, there should be some stamped serial numbers that would indicate the build dates.

      Re: 352 T-bird in 66 Galaxie

Thanks for the reply, sorry for the delayed response... Yeah, it seemed strange to me too for the reasons you'd stated- but yes, all I've seen shows it as "352"

The 1966 model year was the last for the 352 in a passenger car.
