Thought something didn't feel right

Yesterday we drove the 'Bird up to San Carlos Airport to the Hiler Air Museum for a tour.

Car was tracking quite a bit (Thought I had that fixed)
I heard something in the back when I went over a speed bump.
One of my sway bar links on the rear came apart. Just the nut came off. The long bolt is still in there.

Reminds me how much we need to check these old cars.
Mine's going up on a lift this week for me new front sway bar.
I'm going to check every nut and bolt !!!!

John it's great to hear that nothing serious happened and you were also not involved in an accident. You are correct in that, we need to check what's under the car just as much as we pay attention to the outside of the car. Glad to hear all is okay.

Yeah, it was no big deal really. Just reminded me how much that rear sway bar improved the ride, AND like I stated earlier, to check the car
out more often.

Another thing I really need to do is repl the rear leafs (& the bushings).That could be part of the problem.

It's funny you mention the leaf springs ( & bushings ) as mine is going in a week today, to have them inspected and possibly replaced. I also need to have the passenger window swapped out for a new one I got from a supplier as it has a large crack in it.
