    Chrome trim fasteners help

So i have all my chrome installed except the thick pieces that go on the sides by the rear side window. (cant think of what its called) anyways the chrome trim has a few little spikes sticking out that go into the car and i assume something that looks like a brake hold down retainer looks like goes on it to hold it. I need to figure out what they are called or where i can get some.

any help is greatly appreciated. Im sure im making it alot harder than it needs to be.

I used speed nuts with a fender washer to cover the hole. Also used some good sealer. Just make sure you get the correct size so you don't break off the spikes or pins.

As Nyles mentioned you want 3/16" self threading nuts also called speed nuts. Your local home center store may have them .
