    Welcome, wackid !!

Welcome to Squarebirds, wackid! Justin hales from The Netherlands and does not own a Tbird. If you are looking for one let us know what year, model, color, etc., you might be looking for we can help you find one. If you do find one if you will look at the Technical Resource Library (TRL) on this Forum, down at the bottom of it next to last, you will find the Vehicle Check List that members created to help someone who is looking to buy a Tbird. The link to it is always part of my signature element. Print it out and go over them. Take them with you, if you wish, or at least learn what to look for when inspecting one of these old Birds as a prospective buyer. The check list can help you select or reject the car you are looking at. It might save you a lot of money and headaches down the road or confirm that you think the car is worth buying. I would recommend that you save my phone number should you ever need to contact me. Should you have any problems navigating our Forum, please contact me, or Dave Dare. Enjoy The Journey!

    still dreamin

    Thanks for the welcome,

My dreamcar is a '60 Squarebird. In red two tone with red/white interior. AC powerwindows and seats.

I am still saving the money to buy one, but once in a while i will dream away here.

When i have the money present i hope to buy one in the US. Because there are limited squarebirds in the Netherlands.
Maybe with some help from forum members to search a Bird and put it on a ship to europe.

I can imagine that you'll think "yet another bird fly away from the USA" and that you dont like that. But i will give it a good nest here.

      Welcome, wackid !!

HI Justin, when you get ready to buy, we can help you find what you are looking for. We can search for what is available and point you in the right direction. We have several members in your country that might be able to give you advice on what company to use to ship your car. They have probably gone through that process in the past. Marco van Strien - Dutchbird, comes to mind, as does Arie Snoeyen - arie, and Hans van Oorspronk - Thunderhands. They might even know of a '60 that is what your are looking for that might be available in your country. If not in your country, there are certainly many of our members in Europe who have been through this and can tell you what you might find in Europe and who you might want to use and who to stay away from. As for buying one from this country, I certainly don't have a problem with that. Just so someone keeps a Tbird alive and driving from someone who no longer has a use for it. I see you are looking and found that '60 customized Tbird on Craigslist. I will comment further on that post.
